Heena Kupolokun
Head Teacher
Heena Kupolokun has an extensive background as an educator, teaching children ranging from 2 to 18 years old and has held a variety of roles as a teacher, leader, and curriculum developer in both England and Nigeria. With over 15 years experience she has come to learn that whilst education is constantly evolving children continue to learn in their very own special way provided there is an enabling environment and an ethos of building positive relationships. She is a firm believer that adults who play pivotal roles in the lives of children, should foster an attitude to learn, unlearn and relearn in order for children to gain a love for lifelong learning.
She grew up in the UK where she achieved her Bachelor of Arts in Media Performance from the University of Bedfordshire, a Post Graduate Certificate in Further Education at University of Reading, where she gained experience teaching adults with a range of abilities and disabilities and a Post Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education. Being a passionate learner she progressed her learning journey into the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at Herts for Learning, United Kingdom where she gained a Certificate in Effective Teaching and Learning in Early Years.
She relocated to Nigeria in 2016 and enjoys reading, trying food from different cultures and spending time with her family and friends.
